Since today, we didn't have to rush to travel somewhere far, we decided to grab breakfast at 阿宗面线. It's something you've to try when you're in Taipei, and must try if you're staying at 西门丁. Well, I finally can say, "I'VE TRIED IT!" (Tips: It's located at No. 8, Emei St, Wanhua District, take exit 6 from Ximen Station, and take a 5 minutes walk.)
After a good breakfast, we took Metro over to 国父纪念馆 (Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall). Because I think, it'll be nice to visit the first president and also the founding father of Republic of China (Taiwan). If there's no Mr Sun, there'll not be the Taiwan we visit now. Well, the memorial hall now hold art works as well. I would say it's somewhere you can visit and love art work and the history of Taiwan.

And because Taipei 101 is just walkable distance away, we take a slow walk over. And not sure if we are lucky or not, but we saw bikes in front of Taipei City Hall preparing for protesting. And if I'm not wrong, they're protesting for the road rights for bikers. Looking at those bikes, I'm totally melting already. It's more likely to be like Class 2A bikes, not those small ones. 重型车 oh.
Continued our journey even before the bikes leave. And soon, we reached TAIPEI 101! Didn't really spend much time there as the shops there are mostly of luxurious brands, and it's really like ion@Orchard. Thus, we are there for lunch only cause we heard that a cuisine (i forgot what cuisine, but I think it's more like Korean like?) was good, so we tried it!
Squid with Beef set.
After lunch, we went over to ATT@Fun, which is just a street across. Well, it's a recommendation from TK, and side note is because he want to do some shopping there. So XJ and I followed and explore. Spent almost an hour there, because the Shopping King TK shopped for like 30 minutes for a few things. After shopping, he went back to 五分蒲 while XJ and I went over to 象山 to catch sun set. Well, I would say I never regret climbing the hill, or I would say running up the hill. It's super tiring, but yet the night view is totally worth us panting and whining. Actually we won't be this tired if we took a bus over, but because we missed the bus, we had to rush over. And what's better is that a kind Taiwanese actually gave us direction while we are staring at the signboards (another kind and friendly Taiwanese) He also mention that it might be hard for us to catch the sun set due to the weather, but well, maybe we are really lucky, we did managed to catch that beautiful sun set.

After 30 minutes rest, and enjoying the scenery, we decided to head down. Ohya, when we were at the top, we actually saw this kid, he's probably in lower primary's age. We saw the never-give-up spirit in him 那种不轻易放弃的精神. Cause he want to climb a rock, which is like 2.5 times taller than him, and he won't allow anyone to help him. We witness his parents wanting to just give him a little lift, he pushed them away. He tried to climb like umpteen times, even when he fell, he fail, but he never give up. This is the kind of spirit each and every one should have, and this little boy shows me that I shouldn't give up even if I fail. Just try again, and one day I will succeed (even without any help from any one) (Tips: The entrance for 象山 is actually quite a distance away from the Metro station, it's probably around like 15 minutes away walk. And even before you climb the hill, you have to climb a steep slope. There's actually two entrance for it, but I took the one on the right (which is much nearer) and the way from bottom up, will take around like 25-30 minutes if you walk. But of course, if you're running up (like us, because we are rushing of time) it'll take around like 15-20 minutes)
After we're down, we decided to head back to Taipei 101 to have McDonald's. I mean who would go overseas to eat fast food, some more it's a fast food restaurant which you can find in Singapore? But well, I doubt you can find pork burger meal at the price of NT$99 (SGD$4.30) in Singapore! I mean, Singapore definitely won't have pork burger because it's halal. But then, a meal of $4.30? Come on, Singapore McDonald's cheapest meal is around SGD$5 (don't talk about kids meal). So of course, when we are overseas, we should try the meal that we don't have in Singapore. And again, the fries there is so much better than Singapore's. It's probably because Singapore's McD change supplier for their fries / oil / whatever(?) which makes the fries taste so not nice. Hmmm.
And because it's festive season, I have to take some photos with the decorations outside Taipei 101!
Pepper pork burger
And after our meal, we walked over to 通化夜市. Well, it's all walkable distance, and because we just had McDonald's, we would like to have a walk to digest a little before eating street food at night market again. The walk isn't that bad, as there's breeze that hits our face gently and of course, by feet, you can explore those alleys that bus/Metro can't bring you to. Met TK at 通化 straight, as he took Metro down. Spent money on small stuffs and I'm happy with it. Heheh.
Headed back to apartment around 11 pm, cause we are all tired.
Went back, bathed, and we head over to have supper at 7-11 as planned.
But as usual, we still our drinking session till late.
