Hiking and shopping day is today! We planned to head up to 阳名山 on a Friday. Initially, we intend to take a bus (Bus 260) from 西门丁, which will bring us straight to 阳名山. But the waiting time, is craze long! It's like 40 minutes for the next bus to come. So, while we are looking at the map of the bus route, a kind Taiwanese auntie came up to us, and ask where are we heading to. She actually told us that there's another alternative way for us to go 阳名山, and it'll be much faster compared to us waiting for bus 260 (plus the journey from 西门丁 to 阳名山, will take around 1.5 hours *MEH~) She told us that we can take Metro to 士林 then change to bus 红5, which will send us to 阳名山. And it took around an hour for us to travel from 西门丁, much faster indeed. (Tips: If you're taking bus 260, it'll be from exit 3 of 西门 Station. But of course, I would ask you guys to take Metro to 士林 then take bus 红5 down.)

Reached the interchange at 阳名山, we then take the 阳名山 Shuttle bus 108 (which goes around the mountain) to 竹子湖. It's a refreshing and peaceful rural area with altitude of approximately 670 meters that located between Mountain DaTun (大屯山), Mountain QiXing (七星山) and Mountain XiaoGuanYin (小觀音山). It will be full of beautiful Calla Lily (海芋) during blossom season from Feb to May, while Mar and Apr are the best months for visiting. But sadly, we went during the winter season, which means, you can't see anything. We actually went up to the 竹子湖 (顶湖).

After exploring to nothing but greenland and also fighting with the coldness, we decided to take a ride down to 冷水坑 (skipping 七星山 cause the weather outside is way too foggy and the temperature is only 12 degrees), hoping that maybe we can soak ourselves in the hot spring. But little did we know, the hot spring is close for the hour to do cleaning *MEH! So we've got no choice but to take head down hill.

After resting for approximately 30 minutes, we continue our journey. SHOPPING @ 五分蒲! This time round, we took the Taiwan Railway (TRS), try something else other than Metro. Well, it's actually similar to Chatuchak (Jatujak) weekend market. Didn't buy anything there, as it's all winter season clothing, so all I did was to explore the place, familiarize it first, so next time during summer or spring I can come over to shop till I drop. Heheh.

After 五分蒲, we walked over to 饶河夜市. And along the road, me and XJ found the place very familiar, cause we've been there before, via Google Maps. AHAHAHA! The both of us actually laughed out loud when we mention on it, it's like we've been there before, not by legs, but by clicks. Tried some of their specialties there. It's quite a small night market, but they sell a lot of things sold there. We also got our nougats there, we spend quite a bomb at the nougat store.

Took Metro back to 西门丁 and head back to the apartment straight cause we are all feeling tired. But still, we had our beer session (It's a every night thing!)
