Throwback: 28th Feb

Met up with my tall bro, Brandon, for brunch over at a cafe near my place. (The Coffee Shot) I tried their Smoked Salmon on Toast and my fav Butterscotch Latte.
Ambiance: 4.5 stars
Food: 4 stars
Drinks: 3.5 stars
Service: 3.5 stars
Reason why i rate the service 3.5 stars because I think there's a room of improvement at their speed. Usually in a restaurant/cafe drinks should come before the food, but here at Coffee Shot, our drinks are served after our food arrive. But one good thing is that they do provide plain water, like other cafes do.
Drinks are 3.5 stars because I taste more of the milk compared to the taste of the coffee. Although there's the sweetness from the Butterscotch syrup but I think they should have another half shot of espresso. But compared to the one that I always get from my previous workplace, it taste better.
Food is rated 4 stars, because I sincerely think that the salmon is brought out nicely and mixed pretty well with the scrambled egg. I mean, the egg did not cover up the taste of the salmon neither do the salmon cover the taste of the egg. But of course, it'll be nicely if I consume while it's hot. Cause I was waiting for my drinks to arrive before I eat.
Ambiance received 4.5 stars as it's pretty much spacious in the cafe. Even though they can include more seats with can contain more consumers. They play bilingual musics, and most of the musics are quite smoothing. Not really those "club" songs, which will be kind of noisy. And the place is clean (which is very important if you're working in a F&B field)

After brunch, we walked to City Sq Mall, cause he need to report to walk. And while walking back, I found our that there's a lot of cafes around my area. TIME TO TRY THEM ALL~
